At this Estancia residence, plant selection began with the architecture.

Strong vertical forms were chosen to echo the stone columns and timber beams — creating rhythm and scale without overwhelming the façade. Rounded forms were layered at ground level to soften hardscape edges and introduce repetition. Blue-green accents were intentionally placed to cool the warmth of the stone, while golden tones were used to pull light forward and add contrast against decomposed granite.
