A Scottsdale residence by architect Craig Wickersham and Santoyo Custom Homes demonstrates what happens when architecture, construction, and landscape design are treated as one composition. High Desert Designs extends the home’s strong geometry, material palette, and mountain views into the landscape through sculptural cacti, agaves, boulders, a custom putting green, pool, and multi-use sport court—creating an outdoor environment that feels fully integrated with the architecture and the Sonoran Desert.

At High Desert Designs, landscape is never treated as an afterthought. It is conceived as an integral extension of the architecture — grounded in place, proportion, and purpose. One of the most recognizable expressions of this philosophy is our signature monumental boulder integration, where natural stone becomes a defining architectural element.
